Harley Davidson Dyna Vibration Problem

All the Harleys fans and not only them will certainly know the Harley Davidson Dyna a motorcycle with an indisputable charm that has made many riders fall in love but it also has a problem known to all owners of this magnificent motorcycle made in the USA.

Harley davidson dyna vibration problem. The vibration between 25k and 35k rpm on many but not all Switchbacks is a notoriously well known problem. After putting stock mufflers back on have the same problem. I dont get the vibration through the seat or bars.

8 Nov 28 2011. Ive tried with and without the screen as well. It definetly makes a growling noise from the primary side of the bike but the noise will stop when you pull in your clutch if its your inner primary bearing.

My 1998 Dyna has a life of its own at idle almost like the engine is trying to escape the frame but once up to highway speeds smooths right out. After accelerating hard to get on a very short freeway on-ramp recently. The only thing that has changed is the new tyre having a larger diameter has moved the vibration up from 90-100 to 100-110 kmh.

As this has specifically to do with the Switchback exhaust and is a sticky I wont comment other than to say thanks for the link to the bulletin and its info on the front isolator alteration. My buzzing vibration problem on my 08 Super Dyna Glide Custom was fixed after five years of complaining. Still having vibration issue.
